We have an exciting opportunity for an IMS Manager to join our team in Hoddesdon. As the IMS Manager you will;
- Support the control and development of the integrated management systems (IMS) across VolkerWessels UK.
- Conduct surveillance activities to ensure the effective implementation of the IMS and support users in its application through training, induction and guidance.
- Support the CR Director in ensuring the IMS meets applicable ISO/BS, legal, and corporate requirements.
- Manage and lead IMS projects alongside IMS Controllers where required.
- Have a working knowledge of all tasks undertaken by the IMS Team and be able to carry out these tasks as required
- Instruct, guide and support new staff members / document owners / requestors on the transition of the management system and the consolidation of both new and existing documents in to families.
- To assist with audits of IMS and Workspace use on projects and shared services.
- Review of IMS screens to ensure content and layout is both correct and effective.
- Regularly review existing projects and update key risks in the departmental report where required.
About you
Demonstrable achievement in a similar IMS Manager role.
Experience of completing internal audits and facilitating surveillance audits by registration bodies.
Experience of health & safety, environmental or quality in construction with relevant qualifications.
