£50,000 - £65,000/annum

Are you an experienced Project Manager who has worked in a technical environment ?

Do you have experience of Data Management, Data Migration, Data Reconciliation or Regulatory Implementation (PSD2, Basel IV) projects ?

Would you like to work for a leading consultancy that specialises in Data Management & Analytics ?

You will be based from their Edinburgh, London, Leeds or Manchester offices, working a mix of remote, office and client site visits.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and deliver technical projects within the data domain.
  • Track project dependencies and develop strategies for best practice delivery.
  • Ensure quality assurance and testing standards are met.
  • Handle defect management and prioritise problem resolution based on risk.
  • Deliver projects related to data management, migration, reconciliation, and regulatory implementation.
  • Negotiate project scope and priorities with stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong relationships and manage expectations of senior stakeholders.
  • Implement governance, controls, and frameworks to support project delivery

Essential skills:

  • Significant experience and proficiency in Technical Project Management.
  • Strong project management experience in an agile environment.
  • SQL development skills
  • Proficiency in dependency tracking and developing strategies for best practice delivery.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Strong technical knowledge within the data domain.
    • Understanding of testing and quality assurance.
    • Experience with defect management, acceptance testing, and problem resolution.
    • Risk-based prioritisation skills.
    • Project Delivery:
    • Experience in areas such as Data Management, Data Migration, Data Reconciliation, or regulatory implementation (e.g., PSD2, Basel IV).
    • Ability to negotiate project scope and priority with teams and customer stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills, including experience with senior stakeholders (e.g., Director level and above).
    • Capability to drive direction on governance, controls, and frameworks to deliver business remediation and testing.
