Job purpose 

The Project Manager will be a key member of the management team at Deutsche Windtechnik Ltd. The role is responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed timely and within budget. Planning, resource allocation, budgeting, progress monitoring, and stakeholder communication are key elements of this role.

Location

United Kingdom - With regular travel expected.

Duties and responsibilities

The main duties and responsibilities of the role include:

· Number one priority is a clear focus on QHSE ensuring a safety culture visible throughout the business.

· Determine and define project scope and objectives

· Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets, in collaboration with project staff from various functional departments

· Identify and manage risks to ensure delivery is on time

· Analyse project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope, timelines, and costs to ensure that project team adheres to project requirements

· Managing project administration by creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation

· Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement

· Monitor and assign resources appropriately to streamline project efficiency and maximize deliverable outputs

· Perform risk management to minimize potential risks

· Meeting budgetary objectives

· Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate client stakeholders

· Report regularly to management and the client - escalating issues as necessary based on project work plans

· Utilise Project Management and Business Process Management disciplines for successful, on-budget and on-time initiatives delivery.

· Produce presentations as required for Senior Management Level and relevant Client level 

Essential

· At least five years of project management or related experience required

· Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle

· Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline

· Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines

· Ability to communicate with all levels in the company

· Experience in customer liaison and customer service

· Proficiency in MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access

· Proficiency in proven Project Management tools would be advantageous

· Self-motivated and resourceful, with the proven ability to multi-task, solve problems creatively and operate successfully under tight deadlines and time pressure.

· Excellent organisation and interpersonal skills

· Ability to use initiative and make decisions under pressure

· Be self-confident and possess strong leadership skills

· Resilience, resourcefulness and ability to influence at all levels, including MD and board level on decisions which can impact the bottom line

  •  Other essentials you need to have:

    • Pass a pre-employment medical and fitness test before a formal offer of employment is confirmed.
