ESOL Tutor - St. Helens

The ESOL Tutor role is perfect for those looking to step away from the classroom and make a difference to the lives of disengaged, at-risk and vulnerable learners. The successful tutor must be able to create, plan and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to students, helping to bridge gaps in their education and boost engagement and attainment levels.

We are looking for ESOL Tutors who are eager to work with children and young people with a variety of learning needs using a creative, flexible and holistic approach to raise attainment and drastically improve the outlook of their educational journey.

Contract/Position Details:

  • Location - St. Helens
  • Position - ESOL Tutor
  • Start date - ASAP
  • Duration - On going
  • Full-time/part-time - Part time
  • Hourly rate - £25.00-£30.00

Experience, Training and Qualifications:

  • QTS or equivalent
  • ESOL qualification e.g., TEFL or CELTA
  • A minimum of 1-year ESOL tutoring experience
  • Previous experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils

To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching you must:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced Child Barred DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide 2 professional, child-related references
