Senior Support Worker - Kings Norton, Birmingham - £12.35 per hour 

Brookes is excited to announce we are working with an established supported Living provider who are looking for a new addition to the team:

Role Overview:

  • Title: Senior Support Worker
  • Salary/Hourly Rate: £12.35 per hour plus on call allowance
  • Unit and address/ Location: Kings Norton, Birmingham
  • Daily start and finish time: Days, working 3 or 4 shifts per week 8am-8pm or 8am-10pm
  • Size of Service: Up to six service users
  • Age Range of Service Users: Younger adults – Learning disabilities, challenging behaviour.
  • The successful Senior Support Worker will assist the Management team in the day to day running of the home assuming a level of responsibility as designated. Offering guidance, development and support to the staff team and conducting one to one meetings. Participating in assessing and planning to meet the service users’ needs as well as taking part in meetings with other professionals and family members.
  • Hours: 42-hour week on a flexible shift system, which will include long days and may include on-call responsibilities.

Necessary Qualifications:

Applicants must have achieved the Lead Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship, a Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care, or an equivalent care qualification.
