This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in test environments through automation. Seeking a new challenge in a technically interesting and rewarding role where you have the opportunity to make a real difference and help directly improve the velocity and quality of products.

You will be of wider benefit to the company as they expand into more technical based products. The role will involve reliability improvement and planning required for the successful demonstration of a fully operational system. With frequent travel, and occasional work at headquarters in Melksham.

Are you from a Software Tester, looking to support the development of new products, seeking to take on a engineering position where you will be heavily invested in through technical training in order to effectively carry out your work, in a varied and interesting role where you will be able to build a lasting career?

On offer is a position where you will deliver software engineering expertise to the Technical Manager, Program Manager, and wider business, and will primarily be responsible for testing, verification, and production of the software aspects of the company's products, particularly underwater systems related products, whilst enjoying a great amount of variety in your day to day work, receiving full training to carry out your duties.

This company are a specialist provider of protective equipment for the military, emergency services and first responders, and have a history that stretches back well over a century.

Market leaders in their field, the company has a drive for technical excellence which is reflected in the quality of their product range. Due to the recent release of new cutting-edge products, they are looking to hire additional talent to join their team of experts, and help further improve their standards of service.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or master's degree in software, Electronics Engineering or related field, or similar comparable experience.

The Role:

  • You will provide the software testing, validation, and release to production, in the maintenance of their existing products.
  • Support the development of new products ensuring that they are designed with testability and automated testing in mind.
  • Will involve frequent Unit testing and troubleshooting of system failures delivery consistency off the back of this.


The Candidate:

  • Will have a bachelor's or master's degree in software, Electronics Engineering or related field or similar)
  • Exposure to Software Testing including continuous interrogation pipeline building and software release delivery.
  • Exposure to Visual Studio for C, C++ C# development.
  • Knowledge of embedded systems
