Our Automotive Client has a need for a Diagnostic Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.
The ideal Motor Trade Diagnostic Technician will be fully qualified and experienced within the Diagnostic Technician role.
Typical Duties as a Diagnostic Technician / Vehicle Mechanic include but are not limited to:
Hours of work in this Diagnostic Technician role are Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00 - No Weekends!

- Basic - Up to £38,000 - Depending on experience & qualifications

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Diagnostic Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.
The ideal Motor Trade Diagnostic Technician will be fully qualified and experienced within the Diagnostic Technician role.
Typical Duties as a Diagnostic Technician / Vehicle Mechanic include but are not limited to:
- Conduct diagnostic assessments on Crafters, Sprinters, and Transit vans to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
- Use specialised diagnostic equipment and software to troubleshoot vehicle systems.
- Interpret diagnostic codes and data for accurate problem diagnosis.
- Collaborate with service advisors and customers to understand vehicle symptoms.
- Recommend and execute efficient repairs based on diagnostic findings.
- Verify repairs through post-repair tests to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
- Stay updated on latest diagnostic techniques and technologies.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
- Maintain detailed records of diagnostic procedures and repair actions.
- NVQ Level-3 or equivalent OR Previous experience working in a main dealer or independent garage
- MOT license is desirable bot not essential
- Full UK driving license is essential
