Information Security Compliance Officer – 3-Month Contract – Bolton – Outside IR35

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Compliance Officer to join a global organisation on a 3-month initial contract. As the Information Security Compliance Officer, you will assist in executing and overseeing the information security compliance program, lead compliance audits, conduct investigations, and collaborate with the PMO to ensure compliance for new and existing projects within the cyber team. You will be pivotal in driving compliance initiatives, particularly focusing on PCI compliance, within a growing and dynamic cyber team.

Key Experience:

• Proven experience operating in large scale organisations as an Information Security Compliance Officer
• Proven experience with ISO27001 and PCI compliance.
• Extensive background in Governance & Risk, and familiarity with the NIST framework.
• Previous experience in compliance within a cyber team, demonstrating technical expertise.
• Experience in leading IT audits and managing compliance audits to ensure adherence to relevant regulations.
• Strong background in vendor risk management and data protection impact assessments.

Key Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of information security policies and procedures.
• ISO(phone number removed) & PCI DSS are essential
• Proficiency in managing and reviewing auditing software (e.g., AuditBoard).
• Vendor risk management assessments in line with ICO guidelines
• Strong analytical skills to investigate, analyse, and implement measures to prevent phishing attempts.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with the PMO and educate staff on information security policies.
• Capability to manage and implement security awareness training programs for employees.
• Flexibility to wear many hats and adapt quickly in an immature but growing cyber environment.
