Job brief
Our client is looking for a qualified Civil Litigation Solicitor to oversee the legal aspects of their business. The Litigation Solicitor will handle a dispute matter from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Providing legal advice on a variety of areas.
- Drafting of complaint responses, customer correspondence, Letters of Claim, company policies etc.
- Drafting and filing of court documents.
- Drafting and filing of defence and other letters.
- Attendance at court hearings.
- Management of the Data Protection policies, training, and resources.
- Communication with external counsel.
- Legal and regulatory research on a variety of matters.
- Draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights.
- Maintain current knowledge in legislation.
Requirements and skills
- A qualified solicitor with 3+ years PQE
- Proven experience as a Litigation Solicitor in a business environment
- Ability to prioritise and manage a full caseload
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity
- Outstanding communication skills
- LPC or similar
