Role: Quantity Surveyor

Our client, a well-established roofing and cladding supplier based in Bellshill, Scotland, is seeking a dedicated Quantity Surveyor. This role involves comprehensive cost control, management, and reporting for roofing and cladding projects across Scotland. The Quantity Surveyor will collaborate closely with the project team to ensure precise cost estimation and effective cost management throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage cost control and planning for roofing and cladding projects.
• Create and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Conduct cost management, planning, and reporting.
• Perform detailed cost analysis and provide accurate cost reporting.
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure accurate cost estimation.
• Ensure effective cost management throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Strong background in cost control, cost planning, and cost management.
• Experience in creating and managing Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Proficiency in cost reporting and analysis.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of roofing and cladding materials and installation processes.
• Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Experience in the construction industry is a plus.
