Quantity Surveyor - Wigan - Supplier of Engineering and Construction Services

We're working with a leading construction supplier committed to providing top-quality materials and services to their clients. Their mission mission is to support the construction industry with reliable, innovative, and sustainable solutions. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyor with NEC3 experience to join their dynamic team.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures. Your goal is to minimize the costs of a project and enhance value for money while ensuring that the project meets all legal and quality assurance requirements.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Prepare and analyze costings for tenders.

- Work closely with clients and contractors to identify project requirements and deliverables.

- Perform risk, value management, and cost control.

- Advise on procurement strategy and contract selection.

- Measure and value the work done on-site.

- Prepare and submit regular cost reports.

- Manage and negotiate contracts and subcontractor terms.

- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

- Conduct feasibility studies and prepare estimates.

- Assist in the preparation of project budgets and schedules.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably with NEC3 experience.

- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal requirements.

- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.

- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.

- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
