They are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer who has experience working
within commercial environments carrying out all areas of Mechanical ( static role) . This is mainly a Monday to Friday
role but will require some weekend work and call outs. This will be focused on various
commercial sites, the role will be covering Hemel Hempstead and the surrounding
areas.

Package includes:L

• Salary £3800
• Core hours Monday to Friday
• Annual leave (25 days + 8 Bank Holidays)

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Engineering
• Legionella is a bonus

Day to Day Duties:

• Fire alarm testing and sprinkler testing
• AHUs/FCUs - filter changes, belt changes, actuator changes, coil cleans
• Pumps - PPMs or strip downs (replacing seals, bearings, valves, overhauls)
• Motors - PPMs (re-winds, overhauls)
• Water treatment - dipslides, pH & temperature testing, chlorination, chemical dosing
• Water pressurization units
• Chlorifiers - annual inspection, de-scaling
• Steam Plant
• Condensers, Condenser Returns
• Cooling towers
• Softeners
• Humidifiers
• Hydraulics
• Pneumatics
• Boilers - re-sets
• Chillers - re-sets, 1st Line faults
