Senior Mechanical Engineer - £50k-£65k – Buckinghamshire – Electro-Mechanical 
Platform Recruitment has partnered with a company specialising in the design, manufacture, and global distribution of electro-mechanical instruments. As part of their expansion plan, they’re seeking a qualified Senior Mechanical Engineer with experience and interest in all aspects of product development, including concept generation, prototyping, testing, analysis, and manufacturing.

Main Duties:
+ Produce conceptual designs  
+ 3D CAD design 
+ Prototype assembly and testing
+ Design validation
+ Precision mechanism design 
+ Design from concept through to product launch 
+ Mentor junior engineers 

Skills & Experience: 
+ Degree in Engineering 
+ Strong 3D CAD skills 
+ Creativity and blue sky thinking 
+ Experience in designing precision mechanisms
+ Knowledge of different manufacturing processes – machining & injection moulding 
+ Understand manufacturing methodologies - lean & Kaizen & cell  
+ Experience in electro-mechanical product development is advantageous  

The salary will be between £50,000-£65,000 depending on experience. There is also a generous benefit package available including a good bonus.
