Occupational Hygiene Consultant

My clients is a leading consultancy based in the United Kingdom that specialises in providing a wide range of testing, inspection, and certification services to companies within the construction, infrastructure, and health and safety sectors. They are committed to offering remedial advice and technical expertise to help their clients improve their performance and gain a competitive advantage in the market.

Requirements:

• A BSc and/or an MSc in a related technical discipline and accredited membership of BOHS.
• At least 3 years of experience with a methodical approach to work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Possession of a full UK driving licence.
• Proficiency with all Microsoft packages.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Conducting comprehensive environmental assessments to evaluate health risks and hazards related to noise and vibration exposure in various settings.
• Documenting environmental procedures, processes, and tasks associated with noise and vibration, to facilitate thorough record-keeping and analysis.
• Providing clear and accurate information, advice, and training to stakeholders within the environmental sector to promote awareness and compliance with relevant regulations and sustainability initiatives.
• Recommending and implementing organizational changes and facility designs aimed at minimising noise and vibration impacts on the environment and human health.
• Utilising specialised equipment to accurately measure and sample noise and vibration levels in the environment, ensuring precise data collection.
