Swift Placements have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Credit Hire Legal Advisor to join our client based in Liverpool. You will have knowledge of case law and legislation, as well as experience handling your own caseload. 

Job Duties:

  • Dealing with all aspects of litigated and non-litigated claims involving RTA's. 

  • Progress claims in a timely manner. 

  • Issue Court proceedings. 

  • Obtain judgments where needed. 

  • Review evidence. 

  • Review and follow all court orders. 

  • Instructing Counsel, to attend conferences, hearings and CMCs. 

  • Assess offers and make decisions on counter offers. 

  • Ensuring clients are kept informed and up to date on a regular basis. 

  • Checking the authenticity and validity of claims. 

  • Achieve all individual targets and contribute to team/department performance. 

  • Adhere to working practices, policies and procedures including in regulatory and compliance matters. 

The successful candidate: 

  • A good working knowledge of the CPR, case law and legislation 

  • Have relevant experience of having handled claims involving credit hire issues 

  • A good working knowledge of the law relating to credit hire 

  • An ability to work in an organised manner 

  • Excellent client care and communication skills
