Senior Digital Coordinator – North-west 
 
Would you like to join one of the UK's Best Big Companies as awarded by Best Companies? Murphy are currently recruiting for a Senior Digital Coordinator to join our Infrastructure business working across our water frameworks across the North of England. You will support the development, implementation, and deployment of Murphy digital systems and processes to drive our improved Better Engineered strategy. This ensures digital construction is correctly developed and embedded, with its capabilities maximised to provide effective working practices in line with industry best practices and emerging innovation, and technology.

What you will be doing:

Drive the implementation of digital engineering across your projects / frameworks applying appropriate influence, input, resource, process and protocols throughout the project lifecycle, from work-winning to handover.

 

Develop more efficient site engineering practices with our digital engineering capabilities.

  • Support and training with AutoCAD and other digital software platforms.
  • Facilitate an effective as-built drawing workflow process.
  • Identify innovation opportunities.

 

Delivering World Class Quality

  • Champion the introduction, implementation and use of Dalux as our new field-based app for recording quality checklists, SHES forms and other project delivery efficiencies.
  • Identify further efficiencies in the system and process and work with Engineering Managers to implement.

 

Constructability and Project Delivery Efficiencies

  • Provide lead technician capabilities to coordinate 4D rehearsals using Bentley Synchro and other visualisations to support the project delivery teams.
  • Ensure that 4D rehearsals and visualisations are adding value through project delivery efficiencies.
  • Work with our design consultants to ensure federated models are built in a manner to be adapted to the needs of the project delivery teams.

 

Design Management and Document Control

  • Develop BIM Execution Plans (BEPs)
  • Support supply chain partners to ensure they are transmitting digital design deliverables through the CDE workflows

 

Climate and Action and Safety

  • Support our SHES, Project Delivery and Engineering functions to improve our Climate Action and Safety strategic objective through digital engineering initiatives including embedding our Visual Standards into key documentation.

 

Work Winning

  • Support work winning activities through digital engineering opportunities.

 

Who are we looking for?

  • Self-motivated and driven individual to embed digitalisation into our projects and train the team to support efficient delivery.
  • Experienced user of CDE’s – desirable experience with ProjectWise, Aconex and Dalux Field
  • Knowledge and experience of applying ISO 19650 suite of standards.
  • Experience user of Autodesk products including Revit / AEC Suite / Navisworks/ or similar
  • Experienced in model authoring, BIM data management, CAD.
  • Knowledge and experience of the construction industry.
  • Flexibility to travel to sites and offices across the north of England.
  • Recognised BIM qualification/ certification is desirable
