We are recruiting for a Maintenance Coordinator to join a facilities management company based in Blackburn.
  
This newly created role (due to company growth) will involve scheduling and coordinating reactive and planned maintenance jobs and assisting with compliance certifications required by their clients.  Reactive maintenance involves various trades including plumbers, joiners, gas engineers, electricians, painters so you will be someone who enjoys the satisfaction of helping people whilst being able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Your day to day duties will be varied and will include:
  
  • Prime interface into their clients’ staff and tenants to ensure reactive repair jobs are correctly triaged, scheduled, followed up and completed in a timely manner.
  • Responding to enquiries and working with the field team to resolve maintenance issues through to completion.
  • Using the maintenance scheduling and repair reporting system to monitor repairs.
  • Assisting in quote generation and finalising job cards from the field teams.
  • Close liaison with field maintenance teams and external contractors.
  • Managing the invoicing out to clients and invoices coming in from suppliers.
  
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  
  • To be a quick learner! Full training will be provided but you must have the ability to work effectively with their maintenance/scheduling tools eg. simPRO and accounting tools eg. Xero.
  • Previous experience of working in a high volume inbound environment
  • Excellent administration skills and a professional telephone manner.
  • Excellent customer service skills and willingness to resolve faults effectively
  • Prior knowledge of working in the property maintenance area and working with trades people is highly desirable.
  • The ability to prioritise activities, manage several tasks concurrently and work calmly under pressure.
