Job Description

Purpose of Position:

Accurate and thorough commercial management of projects from budget control to final accounts ensuring jobs are delivered in accordance with contract conditions in the most cost-effective manner possible to maximise profitability for the business.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Submission of PQS / budget information to the customer QS
  • Completion of budgets along with relevant budget analysis
  • Review job specific P&L before, during and after the build
  • Ensure any variations are recorded and claimed in full
  • Ensure final accounts are being submitted in accordance with customer SLA
  • Ensure final accounts with queries are progressed in a timely manner
  • Ensure swift settlement of supplier / subcontractor final accounts and assessments
  • Assist with the preparation of any monthly commercial reports
  • Join customer calls and attend meetings when required
  • Provide guidance and if necessary mentor junior members of the commercial team
  • Assist with the completion of periodic PDRs for staff within your commercial team

  • Must be highly computer literate including Microsoft Office and confident in managing and working with large data sets
  • This job is a full-time permanent role, 8am-5pm Monday to Friday from our Widnes Office
  • Opportunity to spend time in and working closely with other departments will be provided to ensure the successful applicant gains a wide depth and breadth of experience and understanding of the company and industry
