We are working with an award winning healthcare provider searching for an experienced and focused Quality Assurance Manager to oversee their home in North London.

You will provide clinical leadership within the Nursing and Care Team on all issues relating to clinical excellence, liaising with the Operations Director, Home Managers and Senior Staff, on all matters impacting upon the business.

Key Responsibilities
• To provide leadership and provide advice and expertise on all clinical nurse issues.
• To play a key role in the continuous development of specialist care provision within the Company.
• To liaise with Head of Operations, Home Mangers and other key staff in the Company.
• To be accountable for the delivery of clinical nurse expertise in the region, representing the Company.
• To promote a style of leadership that develops and empowers staff, recognizing achievements and providing support and assistance.
• To represent the Company's interests and ensure that the implications of the NMC and the standards set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) are adhered to.
• Maintain an awareness of professional development for the nursing staff.
• Clinical supervision of nursing staff in the region.


Operational Planning:
• Implement change and improvement in services and systems including ascertaining and developing the medical competencies of employees
• Complete and evaluate quality assurance systems.
• Set work objectives and targets for Nurse Team relating to Continuous Professional Development
• Attend and participate in Team Meetings with Head of Operations and other Senior Staff.
• Co-ordinate admissions of Client's with high dependency levels and requiring specialist equipment.
• To ensure that the Company meets all the requirements of the Care Quality Commission in matters relating to the quality of its service provided.
• Conduct audits as part of quality assurance system.
• To act as a role model of high quality care provision, to coach, guide and develop staff in delivering a high quality service.

Operational Services:
• Support effective management of staff and resources within the Team.
• Advice in management and control of resources, including people, budgets and training.
• Support the Head of Operations for the region as required.
• Ensure that the rights of the service user' are upheld and promoted at all times, assuring principles of choice, respect, dignity and privacy.
• Support development , implementation and review of management of Care Plans in line with the current assessed needs.

Qualifications and skills required:
• RN level 1
• Post graduate qualification (desirable)
• 2-3 years of experience in similar position
• Registration with NMC preferred
• Managerial, supervisory, teaching and mentoring expertise.
• Interpersonal and communication skills.
