£25,500 + Performance bonus

HOURS: Rotating shift 5:30am – 2pm / 1.30pm -10pm

We are looking for a team player who has the ability to work in a fast paced environment with a sound understanding of warehouse processes and procedures as well as experience of Stock Control.  You will be driven to achieve SLA’s and deadlines and have good time management skills.  Due to contact growth and expansion my client, a national distributer are recruiting for a Stock Controller to join their team.

Key responsibilities;

• Conducting handovers, searching for short or missing stock, and making necessary adjustments or substitutions in the system for customers before drivers leave
• Assisting supervisors and admins with any stock issues encountered during the shift and offering solutions if possible
• Investigating and rectifying discrepancies
• Checking damages
• Allocating stock replenishment sheets
• Making changes to requirements using the in-house system
• Checking purchase orders before processing to the purchase ledger; amending purchase orders in the system
• Ensuring product returns are sent back to suppliers
• Recording findings and team errors in SAP to achieve accurate readings and percentages
• Flagging short-dated products on the Outlook calendar
• Informing appropriate departments about date-sensitive products
• Removing out-of-date products both physically and from the system
• Responding to incident reports assigned to stock control
