Logistics and Stock Coordinator

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + Up to 30% Bonus

Your Role: As our Logistics and Stock Coordinator, you will:

• Manage and maintain stock items, ensuring timely delivery of consumables and spares.

• Provide logistical support to our operational engine assets and auxiliary components.

• Conduct monthly stock checks and maintain minimum stock levels.

• Chair Stores Stock Committee meetings.

• Kit jobs for planned maintenance activities and respond promptly to breakdown spares requests.

• Maintain a bespoke stock database and manage the transportation of spares.

• Review and develop cost-effective stores systems and maintain tool calibration databases.

• Coordinate the refurbishment of critical equipment and adhere to HSQE procedures.

• Conduct occasional audits at various sites (approximately 4 times a year) to ensure proper stock management and compliance.

Your Skills & Attributes:

• Proven experience in stores/logistics within the engineering or power generation sector.

• Familiarity with stock control systems (e.g., Sage, Wap, Holistech).

• Strong IT skills and excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Exceptional time management and organizational skills.

• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team of 8.

• Basic mechanical knowledge of engines is advantageous.

• Flexibility, focus, and a great sense of humor.
