Prohealth are looking for skilled and experienced Midwives for an established client based in Preston.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to women and their families.
- Conduct routine check-ups, screenings, and health assessments.
- Support and monitor women during labor and delivery, ensuring safe outcomes for both mother and baby.
- Offer breastfeeding support and postnatal care to new mothers.
- Educate and advise women and their families about pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
- Adhere to the policies and procedures of each assignment location.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Registered Midwife with a current NMC pin.
- Minimum of 1 year post graduate midwifery experience.
- Proven experience in antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care.
- Excellent clinical and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to different healthcare settings and teams.
- Compassionate and supportive approach to patient care.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records and other IT systems.
