Salary: £120 to £250 per day, dependent on experience

Job Type: Full-Time, Fixed-Term (September 2024 - July 2025)

About Us: Spencer Clarke Group is delighted to partner with a 'Good' graded primary school in the vibrant Chorley area. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Class Teacher to join their team for the entire academic year starting in September 2024.

The Role: As a Year 5 Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to a class of enthusiastic and eager learners. You will be joining a supportive team committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse needs of all pupils.
  • Assess and record pupils' progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and enjoyment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Newly qualified teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply.
  • Previous experience teaching in a primary school setting is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to ensuring every child achieves their full potential.
