Tradewind is currently looking for a hard-working and experienced Year 1 Teacher to join our client school in Salford.

Position: Year 1 Teacher

Location: Salford

Contract: Full-time, September 2024 - July 2025

Pay Rate: £150 - £210 per day, subject to experience

This one-form entry school prides themselves on developing a safe and inclusive school environment.

As a Class Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering varied and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum, and utilising the Read Write Inc Phonics scheme to support all learners. You will help maintain a positive learning environment by managing student behaviour, collaborating with Teaching Assistants, and assessing and recording student progress to ensure progression.

Essential requirements:

• Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience in Key Stage 1 is essential in this role
• Experience teaching phonics, and utilising Read Write Inc phonics
• Passion for creating a positive and impactful learning experience for all students
• Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
• Have the legal right to work in the UK
