The Headteacher of a welcoming and caring Primary School in the Horwich area of Bolton is looking to recruit a capable Teaching Assistant, who has clear experience of supporting pupils in Year 1

The post is to start in September and will be full time Monday – Friday.

The required experience for the Teaching Assistant role is: 

• Knowledge and Understanding of the National curriculum for Key Stage 1
• Experience of supporting children in Year 1
• Phonics Experience preferably with Floppy Phonics is Desirable
• Relevant Teaching Assistant Qualification, to Level 2 or equivalent
• A Teaching Assistant with a passion for improving standards
• A Teaching Assistant who can create an inclusive environment, and remove all barriers to learning
• Pro-active and resilient
• Strong Behaviour Management
