Opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join a successful FMCG business in the North West - a site with a positive, inspirational culture set from the Leadership Team resulting in a collaborative and integrated working style - Finance are seen as a critical function in this business and that makes a real difference. This management role will see you leading a team of Finance Analysts and Cost Accountants striving for your team to deliver complete partnering support. Due to the pace of the site you, will be responsible for working to timescales which will require initiative, drive and energy. Other areas of the role will include:

  • Accurate reporting of all operational results
  • Supporting all operational functions with the provision of analytical insight
  • Be an inspirational leader of the team striving for high standards
  • Manage risks and opportunities proactively
  • Ensure the systems in place are effective for the finance team for future demands on the business.
  • Contribute to the planning and budgeting process for the Group
  • Consistent budgeting accuracy
  • Assist with the integration of the finance module within the S&OP process

Ideally your background will cover:

  • Previous support roles understanding the demands that come with deadline driven manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrable leadership and team building ability through ownership and accountability.
  • A good communication with the interpersonal skills to develop key relationships across the business and the wider Group.
  • Exceptional analytical and reasoning skills.
  • Detailed with an eye for accuracy.
  • Working within larger businesses with multiple sites - desirable not essential.
  • Emotional intelligence, able to integrate well with teams and lead effectively.
  • Strong presentation skills in formal and informal settings.
  • Balanced and down to earth approach, able to challenge confidently and professionally at all levels.
  • Strong understanding of IT and supply chain systems/processes.

This site is part way through a change process, and this is a critical appointment for the team to continue their collaboration with other departments and an opportunity for someone to make their mark in this successful, positive and growing business.
