About the role

In your role as EDI / HR Business Partner you will make a meaningful and valued contribution from the outset.

This role will provide a great opportunity to support and drive forward the company’s EDI strategy through the design and delivery of initiatives and projects across resourcing, people policy and practice, learning and career development.

The EDI / HR Business Partner will lead the internal EDI Steer Co, collaborating with EDI employee networks, the wider HR team and Executive Sponsors to monitor and progress EDI actions.​

This role will also work closely with internal stakeholders on connecting the employment EDI strategy to our pensions proposition and investment strategies.  

What you will be doing

As a trusted part of the HR you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting delivery of the strategic and operational requirements of the Company’s EDI strategy, targets and objectives
  • Driving forward EDI actions in relation to attracting and onboarding; creating an inclusive culture and working practices; and developing diverse talent and EDI awareness
  • Coordinating activity across key stakeholders/diversity strands, including collaboration across teams that support the delivery of EDI activity where required
  • Working alongside the HR Business Analyst, drive enhancements in EDI data collection and analysis to highlight trends, progress, potential risks to the EDI strategy. Present data in different ways to ensure it is accessible and useful to various stakeholders

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • HR professional with direct experience of delivering against an EDI strategy
  • An understanding of the challenges of EDI in Financial Services
  • Experience of influencing at senior levels to gain buy in to EDI
  • Strong knowledge of EDI best practice and the relevant employment law surrounding EDI
