These range from the production of economic research documents, reports, articles and media based information.

Key Accountabilities

• Economic forecasting; model specification and estimation
• Evaluate macroeconomic and microeconomic trends that have a direct/indirect effect on industry
• Prepare written reports and presentations to senior management
• Development, analysis and maintenance of corporate datasets and reports
• Supporting the development of new data-driven services, solutions and products
• Providing technical expertise, training and support to non- experts
• Liaising with and gathering data and information across the business
• Manage aspects of the economics forum
  
  Previous experience of the following would be advantageous: -

• Inhouse / consultancy experience of providing detailed economic analysis
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to explain economic concepts and results, to non-specialist in everyday language for a business audience
• Ability to work using own initiative
• Undergraduate Degree (or equivalent) in a course that is Economics based, or as part of a joint honours program
