ENG Bauen is  continuing to work closely with our clients across the UK and Europe, supporting major projects and critical work packages across the energy industry.

We have an opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to oversee multiple aspects of the commercial lifecycle, including variations and subcontractor management. You’ll be responsible for ensuring costs are monitored and reported and that all risk factors are identified and flagged at the soonest opportunity.

The successful candidate will be an experienced quantity surveyor or cost engineer who has a strong background in the administration of NEC 3 /4 contracts.

This is an ideal opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with a background in the Energy sector who is looking to secure a long-term opportunity with a globally recognized Engineering organisation.

The role

• Manage and oversee multiple aspects of the commercial lifecycle, including cost monitoring, reporting, and variation management.
• Administer NEC 3 / 4 contracts and ensure compliance with all contractual obligations.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure project milestones and cost objectives are met.
• Identify and flag potential risk factors early to mitigate the impact on project delivery.
• Support major projects and critical work packages across the energy industry.

The Person:

• Experienced Quantity Surveyor or Cost Engineer with a strong background in the Energy sector.
• Proficient in administering NEC 3 / 4 contracts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for effective subcontractor management.
