Rate: £320 per day / 12 month contract / Outside IR35

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a busy family owned main contractor on a £60m refurbishment project local to Andover in Hampshire. This is a contract position with a duration of at least 12 months and a day rate of £320 per day (Max.). The role will be outside of IR35.

The Quantity Surveyor will be based on site and supporting the existing site team with:

  • Change management - identifying and evaluating change
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for the proposed changes
  • Pricing variations
  • Contract administration
  • Work closely with the project management team, stakeholders and the client
  • Ensure accurate and up to date documentation a record keeping
  • Identify and asses risks associated with any proposed changes. Develop strategies to mitigate their impace on the cost and programme
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports
  • Dispute resolution


Quantity Surveyors considering this position will need to live within a reasonable commute of Andover and happy to be based on site 4-5 days a week. You'll also need experience of working on landscaping or groundworks within the residential sector.
