About this position

We are currently working with a Systems Integrator who provide integrated conveyor and automated systems. They design, manufacture, install and maintain a range of high performance automation and electrical systems for a diverse range of manufacturing industries operating throughout the UK and Europe. 

Due to the recent growth of the business and a number of exciting new contracts they are looking for a Control Systems/Software Engineer to join the team. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and organising the project from FDS to a finalized design and implementation.
  • Working with the team to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the customers specification.
  • Compiling, collating, maintaining and checking records as required by Company procedures, relevant regulations and legislation.
  • Ensuring team complies with health and safety and other relevant regulations and legislation.
  • Responding to any incidents and problems encountered in work situations.
  • Taking corrective action to resolve them if possible.
  • Escalating to management where necessary.
  • Liaising with customers to be aware of their expectations and facilitating their involvement.


Experience Required:
 

  • The applicant must have a systematic approach to the analysis, design, assessment, implementation, testing, maintenance and re-engineering of software.
  • They must be able to complete projects from design concept to implementation.
  • Some projects will include Human Machine Interfaces (HMI’s) and Scada applications.
