Position: Embedded Software Engineer
Salary: up to £55,000
Location of Office: Deeside + very flexible hybrid Work from Home
The Role: Our client, a British design and manufacturing company are continuing to grow their engineering team and now looking for an experienced embedded software engineer to join them. The successful embedded software engineer will be expected to contribute throughout the full design life cycle and play a key role in the design and development of a new range of bespoke software solutions that will be used in their products across the globe.
Skills and experience required:
- C programming
- Embedded systems
- RTOS development - FreeRTOS ideally
- Serial Protocols - I2C, CAN, SPI, RS232, RS485 etc
Our client has an established engineering team and an excellent reputation with over 20 years experience in their sector. In this role you will get the chance to work with a range of engineers from different disciplines including software, test, electronics and cloud technologies.
This role will best suit an experienced embedded software engineer who has proven experience working in a similar role who is keen to be involved in the design and development of a new range of bespoke software solutions whilst working within a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- C++ programming
- Python
- Electronics design knowledge
