Peace Recruitment are seeking an experienced freelance Contracts or Project Manager for a large infrastructure project in Edinburgh. This is a 12-month contract. Payments methods can be CIS or Outside IR35.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Contract Management: Administer and manage contracts with a focus on the NEC (New Engineering Contract) suite, ensuring compliance and alignment with project objectives.
• Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate potential contractual risks, providing proactive solutions to issues.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for all contractual matters, liaising with contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Contract Documentation: Prepare, review, and update contractual documents, including agreements, change orders, and notices.
• Dispute Resolution: Handle disputes efficiently, negotiating settlements in accordance with project goals and contractual terms.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records and provide regular reports on contract performance and status to senior management.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in contract or project management within large infrastructure projects.
• NEC Expertise: Proven experience with the NEC suite of contracts, particularly NEC3 and NEC4.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
• Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with contract management software and standard office applications.
