Hays Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with a Tarporley based High School as they are looking to recruit a number of motivated and reliable teaching assistants to support across all year groups. These are long-term temporary contracts required due to the school receiving additional funding.

Your new role
In your new role as a teaching assistant within this school you will be supporting pupils across all year groups (Years 7 - 13). You will support your new pupils on a 1:1 and group basis, hold intervention and booster sessions in core subjects and actively encourage pupils to give input during lessons. You will support the class teacher's with general classroom and behaviour management by implementing a myriad of positive behaviour techniques to offer a stimulating and engaging learning environment.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered in your application, you must have full "Right to Work" in the UK as well as a minimum of 40 days referenceable experience working with children between the ages of 11 - 17 in the last 2 years, as well as:

• Ability to work with mixed ability students
• Experience holding intervention and booster sessions
