My client are a well established housing developer and contractor delivering projects including new build housing, apartments, and student accommodation schemes.
They are recruiting for an Assistant QS to join their business. Experience of working on new build housing projects is essential.
As the Assistant Quantity Surveyor, your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Working on projects such as existing building conversions and new build housing.
- Assisting with reviewing project costs for accuracy and addressing any discrepancies.
- Helping to evaluate, price, negotiate, and finalise budgets and costs for project scope changes.
- Aiding in developing and maintaining procurement schedules.
- Keeping track of any variations that may affect costs and create reports to show profitability.
