£27,500 - £37,500/annum plus package

My client are a well-established regional construction and housing contractor possessing a wealth of expertise and experience in successfully delivering a wide array of projects across sectors including education, healthcare, housing, commercial, and retail.

They are recruiting for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their business. You'll be working on a £60m, 250-unit design and build housing scheme which is scheduled to run for 4 years.

The role: You'll have an excellent opportunity to learn and develop in your career as a Quantity Surveyor. Your duties will include assisting with the following: Ensuring projects are delivered on time and to budget. Reviewing project costs for accuracy and addressing any discrepancies. Evaluating, pricing, negotiating, and finalising budgets and costs for project scope changes. Developing and maintaining procurement schedules. Preparing bills of quantities and schedules of works for pricing projects. And assisting with subcontract procurement, agreement, payment, and award.
