What You Will Be Doing: As a Pre-Construction Project Manager, you will be a crucial part of the preconstruction team, contributing to securing new projects and ensuring high-quality bid submissions. You will lead and collaborate on tender processes, focusing on constructability, programme development, and quality deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage bid submissions, identifying win themes and client drivers.
- Develop and produce tender stage construction programmes using ASTA Powerproject.
- Support estimators with construction methodology and programme development.
- Write, review, and edit bid responses for PQQ, tender, and framework submissions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to gather data and evidence for bid content.
- Provide early pre-construction planning phase deliverables, supporting the operations team in project transitions.
- Identify opportunities to enhance margin through design and methodology solutions.
- Produce NEC Clause 31 compliant construction programmes.
- Ensure high-quality and timely bid submissions.
- Support operational teams with pre-construction planning and resource management.
- Develop comprehensive bid content and tender interview materials.
