Medium sized Developer based in Kent.
Office based.

Main duties of the role:

  • Assist in programme development and understand business and programme objectives providing advice and motivation to project teams towards achieving our goals.
  • Manage programme delivery during the pre-development stage of the project and co-ordinate with the Land & New business, Planning and Technical teams to ensure delivery to meet programme expectations.
  • Regular progress reporting against programme in accordance with company procedures
  • Strong management to recover lost time or advance the programme wherever possible.
  • Assess and understand pre-purchase Land acquired information.
  • Recommend further land investigation works.
  • Seek solutions to identified land issues.
  • Guide the design and technical team to provide project information in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the selection and appointment of specialist consultants.
  • Assist the technical team with checking information produced by consultants to reduce errors / clashes / co-ordination issues.
  • Supervise production of information, review content and where possible offer advice on solutions, to assist the land purchase and estimating teams in fulfilling their role.
  • Manage the process of site information gathering; geotechnical investigations, contamination investigations, services and drainage investigations, topographical and condition surveys. Implementation of Ecology clearance, Archaeology clearance, demolition, installation of temporary builder’s supplies, services diversions, site access agreements. Implementation of off-site infrastructure elements of schemes. All managed through a seconded member of the construction team and liaison with CCE.
  • Assist in the delivery and production of information to discharge planning conditions with particular emphasis on pre-start conditions.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly reporting including programme drop line
  • Adhere to the Company’s financial systems and processes relating to sites including sign-off of fee proposals and invoices, and seek approval for all external spend and adhere to policies and procedures regarding expenses etc.
  • Keep electronic filing systems up to date.
