Vision for Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Trainee Classroom Supervisor to join the team. As a Classroom Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of education during teacher absences. You will be responsible for supervising classes, ensuring that students remain engaged in their learning activities, and managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies. Successful candidates can have the opportunity to go into multiple different secondary school, gaining insight into how different schools in their area are run. There are on-site parking or local transport amenities for most sites.  

Requirements

The ideal Classroom Supervisor will be confident in their ability to:

• Supervise classes across various subjects during the short-term absence of teachers.
• Ensure students are engaged in pre-set work and assist where necessary.
• Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies and procedures.
• Provide feedback to the regular teacher on the progress and behaviour of students.
• Support students in their learning and promote a positive learning environment.
• Uphold the school’s values and contribute to the overall school ethos.
