Are you passionate about education and keen to make a positive impact in a vibrant Primary School setting? Vision for Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join the team at a Primary School in Bootle, Sefton. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of education during teacher absences. You will be responsible for supervising classes, ensuring that students remain engaged in their learning activities, and managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

This position is part-time, supporting on Monday, Tuesday & Thursday afternoons (12:30 - 15:30) 

Requirements

The ideal Cover Supervisor will be confident in their ability to:

• Supervise classes across various subjects during the short-term absence of teachers.
• Ensure students are engaged in pre-set work and assist where necessary.
• Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies and procedures.
• Provide feedback to the regular teacher on the progress and behaviour of students.
• Support students in their learning and promote a positive learning environment.
• Uphold the school’s values and contribute to the overall school ethos.
