GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced 1:1 Tutor to work in Sheffield, focusing on students who exhibit challenging behaviour.

Job Summary:

This role requires a patient and resilient individual who can provide tailored educational support to help students achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 tutoring to students with challenging behaviour.
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans.
  • Monitor and assess students' progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with students to foster a supportive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best educational outcomes for students.

The successful candidate will:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Proven experience working with students who have challenging behaviour.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students.
  • Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude.
