Electrical Estimator

We are seeking an Electrical Estimator to join our clients' team based in Wirral. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience as an estimator, specifically pricing electrical packages in the range of £1 million to £4 million with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The position is office-based with site visits when necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse project blueprints and specifications to estimate electrical costs.
- Determine material quantities, labour hours, and subcontractor costs.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to refine estimates.
- Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and bid proposals.
- Evaluate project profitability and recommend adjustments as needed.
- Stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates and bid submissions.
Requirements:
- 3 years+ of experience as an electrical estimator, preferably in the specified project size range.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Valid Electrical qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (advantageous)
Salary Range: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, dependent upon experience.
