Our client, a well-established M&E contractor based in the Northwest, is rapidly becoming one of the region's most successful building services companies, working extensively with schools and hospitals. Due to the Contracts Department's success and the increasing number of multi-million-pound M&E projects delivered, our client has recognized the need to expand the electrical side of the business to complement the mechanical side's success.

They are now seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their Pre-Contract team.

Role Overview:

The primary responsibilities of the Electrical Estimator will include compiling quotes/estimates and assisting with the tender process. While design experience is advantageous, it is not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare tenders and estimates
• Download and print documents, specifications, and drawings
• Conduct take-offs from drawings and interpret specifications/drawings to meet project needs
• Obtain quotes from wholesalers and subcontractors
• Verify that quotes meet project requirements
• Build and submit tenders/estimates to clients
• Present tenders/estimates to clients
• Follow up on submitted tenders/estimates to determine outcomes
• Handle design and build tenders/estimates

Position Requirements:

• Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator
• Reside within a commutable distance to Liverpool/Manchester
• Salary range: £40-50k / year (negotiable based on experience)
