Specialist Technician The Arden School of Theatre

We have an exciting opportunity to join us as an Specialist Technician at The Arden School of Theatre to work as part of our BA (Hons) Technical Theatre and Stage Management Programme on a permanent, full time (35 hours per week) basis.
As a Specialist Technician you will work with students, delivering workshops and supervising sessions as well as providing specialist curriculum support. To order, allocate and maintain all materials and equipment required by staff and students for curriculum delivery and assessment. To support teachers in the delivery of the curriculum and enhance the student experience by giving demonstrations and providing general (direct/practical) support and advice.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Level 2 English & Mathematics
- Industry relevant qualification as applicable by specialist function
- First Aid qualification (or be prepared to work towards within first year)
- Good knowledge of skills including Lighting, Sound, and Scenic Construction
