HGV Class 1 Driver

We're recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers on behalf of our client in the Wirral area. If you have 12 months HGV Class 1 experience, we can offer ongoing work and flexible shift patterns to suit your needs.
Hours:
- Monday to Friday - Start times: Between 0300 - 1100 and 1600 - 2300
Pay Rates:
- Days: - PAYE: £16.59 per hour or Umbrella: £18.00 per hour
- Nights - PAYE: £18.49 per hour or Umbrella: £19.00 per hour
- Rates include holiday pay
Duties:
- Drive a HGV Class 1 vehicle with Curtainsided or Box Trailers.
- Perform trunking work to Regional Distribution Centres (RDCs) in the Midlands.
- Conduct drop and swap operations-no loading or unloading required.
- Ensure your load is secure.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and necessary paperwork.
Skills & Experience Required:
- HGV Class 1 Driving Licence.
- CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and Digi Card.
- At least 12 months of HGV Class 1 driving experience.
- No more than 6 points on your licence for minor endorsements.
