Job Description: Production Operator

Location: Knowsley Industrial Park - Liverpool

Pay rate: starting £12.00 - £22.00

We are seeking a Production Operator with a can-do attitude and a passion for excellence to join my client's high-speed production team. As a Production Operator, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing process, ensuring that plastic products meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Your positive attitude, adaptability, and strong work ethic will be crucial in maintaining our fast-paced production schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Machinery: Safely and efficiently operate plastic production machinery, including injection molding, extrusion, and thermoforming equipment.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks on products to ensure they meet specifications and standards. Report and address any quality issues promptly.
• Process Monitoring: Monitor production processes to ensure they run smoothly and identify any areas for improvement.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machinery to prevent downtime and ensure the longevity of equipment.

Qualifications:

• Attitude: A positive, proactive attitude and a strong sense of responsibility are essential. We value individuals who are eager to learn, adapt, and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
• Experience: Previous experience in a production or manufacturing setting, especially in plastic manufacturing, is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
• Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 20kg, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
