Our client, a well-established independent construction consultancy, is currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Building Surveyor to join their dynamic team in Leeds. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects with a big focus on local authority projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct building surveys, inspections, and assessments
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation on building conditions
  • Advise on the design, construction, maintenance, and repair of buildings
  • Manage and oversee refurbishment and renovation projects
  • Conduct feasibility studies and prepare budget estimates
  • Ensure compliance with relevant building regulations and standards
  • Provide expert advice on property and construction matters to clients
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure successful project delivery

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Building Surveying role
  • Strong knowledge of building construction, regulations, and standards
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

On offer for the Building Surveyor:

* Salary £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience and chartership.
