Service Technician / Workshop Engineer / Workshop Technician required to join a leading supplier of Hydraulics, Rotating Equipment, Gearboxes and Motors.
 
The Successful Service Technician / Workshop Engineer / Workshop Technician will predominantly be Workshop based providing electrical and mechanical repair, overhaul, service, maintenance, Manufacture and fault finding on various Hydraulics, Rotating Equipment, Gearboxes and Motors.
 
The Service Technician / Workshop Engineer / Workshop Technician will ideally have a service background in electrical and /or mechanical engineering such as, Hydraulics, rotating equipment, Hoeses, turbine generators, HPU’s, pumps, Gearboxes and Motors  or similar engineering products.
 
Package
Salary £28,000 - £35,000 depending on experience.

Service Technician / Workshop Engineer / Workshop Technician Role
To provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance of various Hydraulics, Rotating Equipment, Gearboxes and Motors.
The Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics, on rotating equipment, turbine generators, pumps, HPU’s, Hoeses, Gearboxes and Motors  or similar engineering products.
Maintain, repair and install rotating equipment, turbine generators, pumps, Gearboxes and Motors  or similar engineering products.
Carrying out high frequency repairs on plant machinery and vibration testing.
Liaise with various engineering departments. 
 
Service Technician / Workshop Engineer / Workshop Technician Requirements
Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Workshop Engineer, Workshop Technician,  Proven diagnostic skills on complicated electrical / mechanical engineering systems.
Service background in electromechanical such as Hydraulics, Valves, HPU’s, hydraulics, pumps, motors, compressors, high-pressure systems, machine tools, pumps, motors, Gearboxes or similar hydraulic / pneumatic machinery.
Good working knowledge of 3 phase motors, 3-phase electrics or 3-phase controls would be advantageous.
A technical mechanical / electrical / electronic / instrumentation qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous.
