As part of a long-term trend of increased orders a large chemical plant who are looking for Chemical Process Packers. You will carry out packing duties across various areas of the plant, working on a shift pattern as part of a dedicated team.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and set up packing systems according to standard instructions, ensuring all necessary packaging, equipment, labelling, and raw materials are available for the specific product and quantity.
  • Collaborate closely with Chemical Process Operators to achieve set KPIs.
  • Follow packing guidelines for sampling, presentation, labelling, weight control, additive addition, and reworking while adhering to good manufacturing practices.
  • Actively participate in compliance with safety, environmental, and company standards, including auditing, reporting, team improvement activities, and housekeeping across multiple areas.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, ensuring timely completion of batch documentation and handovers, and assisting colleagues to enhance their knowledge and understanding.
  • Clean process equipment and packing areas, maintaining GMP standards.
Key Skills/Attributes & Experience:
  • Relevant industrial experience is essential.
  • Formal manual handling training is preferred.
  • Experience working in a 24-hour continuous shift environment is advantageous.
