Senior Project Manager/Programme Manager – Building

Role Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager/Programme Manager to oversee various building improvement works. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality project and programme management standards across the entire project lifecycle, from initial conception through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management and Delivery: Lead and manage the delivery of building improvement projects, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and timeline expectations.
• Programme Management Standards: Implement and maintain high standards of project and programme management throughout the lifecycle of each project.
• Detailed Briefs and Project Requirements: Prepare comprehensive project briefs and identify detailed project requirements across the entire programme of works.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct initial launch and engagement meetings with key internal and external project managers and officers to ensure clear communication and alignment.
• Multi-disciplinary Team Collaboration: Work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team to achieve project goals.
• Pre and Post Contract Management: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of both pre and post contract project management responsibilities, delivering these services effectively to clients.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: Hold or be actively working towards a recognized Project Management Qualification.
• Experience:
  • Proven experience in public sector building projects and/or programme management across the project lifecycle.
  • Experience working within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare detailed project briefs and accurately identify project requirements.
  • Proven track record of conducting successful initial launch and engagement meetings with various stakeholders.
